Practice with me

You can find me teaching regularly at &asanas.

If I have other offerings available (such as Backyard Yoga, or speciality offerings like Kirtan), you’ll see them listed below. If nothing’s there, check back soon :)

FAQs

  • Kirtan is a form of call-and-response chanting — a practice of Bhakti yoga (the yoga of devotion). Together, we sing simple mantras that quiet the mind and open the heart. You don’t need to know the words or have any singing experience — the magic of Kirtan is in the shared vibration and connection that arises when voices come together.

  • Everyone is welcome! Soulful Sunday is a community gathering for all — whether you’ve been practicing yoga or meditation for years, or you’ve just started! If you feel a twinkle of curiosity, this is for you. There’s no need for prior experience; just come with an open mind, an open heart, and a willingness to participate in whatever way feels comfortable for you.

Kirtan is a wonderful practice for all ages, abilities, genders, people. You are welcome here as you are.

  • Wear something comfortable that allows you to sit and move with ease — many people sit on a cushion or blanket during Kirtan, some prefer sitting in a chair. Please bring whatever you’d like to sit on (yoga mat, cushion, blanket, lawn chair, …)

You might also bring a cozy layer, a water bottle, and anything that helps you feel grounded.

Everything else — dinner, candles, and the cozy atmosphere — is provided for you.

  • The dinner is a three-course, plant-based menu curated by Mache Dining — crafted with intention, seasonal ingredients, and nourishing flavors. You can expect dishes that celebrate local produce and thoughtful combinations (salads, hearty mains, light desserts). The meal will be elevated yet cozy — a dinner you’ll want to linger over with community.

If you have dietary needs (gluten-free, nut-free, etc.), just let us know at registration and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

  • Each Soulful Sunday takes place at Otherwise Creative Studio — a former church, now creative space, just outside London, Ontario — a beautiful, peaceful location that feels like a little getaway from the city. (Plus, imagine the acoustics!!)

The address is 3034 Glanworth Drive and ample parking is available on both sides of the road.

  • (Louder for those in the back!!!)
Not at all! Kirtan is about sound and connection; it’s an offering, not a performance. Some people sing loudly, others hum softly or simply listen. However you participate, your presence adds to the collective energy of the group.
